Imagine working with weddings as a profession, and then finally your special day comes around. This was the reality for Johnny, the owner of Renaissance reception hall, and his beautiful bride-to-be Tania. With no wedding planner and a plethora of choices, these two were able to put out a glamorous, charming and inviting all at once. Ever wonder how an industry expert’s would looks like? Look no further. We’ve narrowed down three professional choices that will make the biggest difference for any bride trying to plan.
Step One: A Talented Luxury Dress Designer
Anne Jean-Michel is an amazing Montréal designer that (similar to us) focuses on what makes every bride unique. Tania went for a princess style gown with delicate beading on the sweetheart neckline and chose a long veil to pull it all together. Instead of trying to match the glitter of her dress, Tania opted for a more natural look when it came to makeup and chose Swarovski hair comb, pearl earrings and midnight blue heels. The result? She looked stunning and flawless; it would’ve been impossible to ignore her glowing presence. Johnny’s suit with a black bowtie suited her elegant look, and of course, we can’t forget to mention the slinky Montreal-Canadians garters Tania rocked.
Step Two: A Heart-Warming Ceremony
Johnny and Tania chose the beautiful Notre-Dame Basilica for their ceremony. Golden architecture reflected to give the feeling of warmth into the room, and they exchanged vows while their loved ones laughed, cried and clapped. The couple walked out with swagger, and walked into the day as husband and wife.
Step Three: A Fun and Comfortable Reception
Well clearly, they had this part covered. They chose to continue the blue Baroque style lighting as they let loose at Renaissance. They had a stunning black and white wedding cake made by La Frenaie working with the Roses and Orchids they selected. As they shared their first dance to I Belong to You by Eros Ramazotti, we couldn’t help but appreciate the love that went into their choices and the beautiful people that shared it with them. Any real industry expert’s wedding will focus on the people more than anything, and that’s what these two did.
