In a time when so many couples are aiming for elaborate themes and unique receptions, I’ve learned to appreciate weddings that are classically beautiful. Of course, this doesn’t mean they have to be boring, just the opposite. Alaa and Rabi are the perfect examples of having a timeless wedding at Le Westin that was full of life and love. Lace and Ribbons wedding planning did an amazing job bringing everything together.

The Everlasting Look

Alaa looked absolutely stunning. Her classic makeup and hair by Studio Caroline Theorot worked perfectly with her long beaded gown with a fabulous train (see below for the full dress). I absolutely love this hairstyle for an alternative to the wedding day up-do, it left her looking romantic, flirty and casual. Rabi looked sleek, and I adored his use of a glossy bow-tie to add some ‘glimmer’ to match his future wife.

An Breezy Walk Down the Ailse

Rabi wore a gorgeous hood that doubled as a veil that had a delicate lace trim and a simple white coat over her dress as she walked down the ailse. Outdoor ceremonies are always fun to be a part of, but also risky. You never know when the temperature is going to drop, or a bird is going to fly by and drop you a present. Lucky for these two, the air was warm enough and the cityscape made for a beautiful background.

Full of Life, Full of Love

Le Westin served as a great reception hall with warm light surrounding the room and a gorgeous room. The real show-stopper was the wedding cake by Dolci Piu, that was delicately frosted with pale or dusty pink flowers. As the two sliced the cake together (their first big feat of being married), there was a collective internal sigh around the room, no one could deny the love between these two charming sweethearts.
