Tip of the day from Stephanie: “The most important at the wedding is a homey atmosphere!”

The wedding took place in Shefford.

It’s situated in a beautiful picturesque location near the lake and the vineyard which all makes it perfect for wedding pictures.

Stephanie and Etienne chose this place because they wanted a very intimate family wedding. Their location had everything they were looking for: large beautiful rooms, cozy reception hall with a fireplace and a beautiful garden.  Also the guests could stay overnight in spacious new rooms.

Both Stephanie and Etienne got ready on different floors. Stephanie was hiding from Etienne on the top floor overlooking the vineyard.  Although it was recently built, the interior looks like an old Castle and it provided some amazing opportunities for the wedding pictures.  The staircases in the old style and the Gothic looking windows created nice backgrounds to outline Stephanie’s beauty.  Stephanie looked radiant in her wedding dress and a beautiful updo.  Her top of her dress was decorated with white feathers creating a very glamorous and stylish look.  Her bouquet was white with a little pastel touch of pink.

At the same time, Etienne was hiding in the large basement.  He and his friends were busy getting ready to play the next game on the pool table.

The weather was sunny with a few puffy white clouds. The ceremony took place outdoors in a beautiful garden. It was a very short one, but very intense.  The couple exchanged rings, roses and kisses in front of their friends and family.

After the ceremony, we went for the couple pictures in the vineyard, the beautiful natural setting looked like it was taken from a fairy tale book. Stephanie looked so elegant and feminine. To make it even more romantic, we also did a few wedding images inside.

At the dinner everybody was sitting together at a large long table like in the old times in castles. It really created the sense of family, close friendship and strong bonding.  The evening was filled with fun. There were a lot of funny games, in one of which Stephanie had to find out who her husband was with her eyes closed.

Later in the night Stephanie reappeared in a different dress: sparkling blue. She looked like a movie star for the rest of the evening.

The evening ended with the lanterns flying in the sky, occasion during which we took gorgeous wedding night shots of the newly married couple in love.
