Paris Gadsby Wedding Andrei and Victoria

Victoria is a former professional model (NEXT agency) and Andrei is a former professional snowboarder. Together they make a stunning couple full of fire and “joi de vivre”.

They got married in the city and then celebrated their  wedding in the Château de Savigny for two consecutive days.  Friends joint together from all over the world Russia ,United States and Canada.  We went to take picture near the Eiffel Tour while all the guests headed towards the Château in a special wedding bus. The bus was full of Champagne just for them, so the party started in the bus!

The Chateau is located three hours drive from Paris . It’s an old mention that belong to a rich family hundreds of years ago. Today it’s a historical museum with a small  hotel and a restaurant.  The usual activities include horse riding and even hot air balloons. Guests stayed at the Chateau for two days. It was magical.

The first evening was a traditional wedding with lots of great toasts, jokes and dancing.

In the morning guests enjoyed the castle, walked in the forest, played golf and explored the  area around the château in carriages.

The second dinner party was 20’s Gatsby style.

This was a crazy evening! Everybody spend a lot of time and effort  to find an amazing 20’s outfit. The lovely singer Mia came from Italy and made the evening fantastic by singing beautiful love songs all nigh long. Friend prepared lots of surprises: songs, poems and even guitar performances. The party was so much fun and full of young energetic people, that at one point most of the guests were dancing on the chairs around their dinner tables.

We went for romantic pictures around the Castle just before the sunset. The images in the province come out so beautiful: the blue sky, the hey, the little ships, houses…a true fairytale.

From the bride:

Let me share the wonderful experience I had planning my wedding.

For me it was very important to celebrate our love in an intimate environment with close friends. But everything had to be very beautiful, clamorous and magical.

We decided to hold a wedding in Paris so that it would feel like a dream vacation to all the guests that live far.  The search started with the location.

After a long research we found a beautiful castle  “Chateau Savigny” that really represented the spirit of the Old France.  This chateau also was transformed into a small hotel. That was ideal because our guests could stay over for two nights.

The hall for the dinner was very small, but very beautiful in the style of old province.

I am very happy that it was small and cozy because everybody was sitting very close and it created a great ambiance.

I decided the decor needed to be very simple, but elegant. The colors of the hall were blue and white. It’s a very soft pastel palette. I chose white orchids as centerpieces to compliment the colors. I also decorated the table with little transparent name holders and paper white hearts.  A few days before the wedding I made a wish tree. That was my big self-made project and I enjoyed it very much.

I divided the event into two days and two themes. The first day we had a ceremony in the city of Paris. I always imagined that on my wedding I would be wearing a long long white veil and it will fly in the wind. So I was wearing a white wedding dress from Pronovias, a pearl headband and the long veil. The accent color was red. I had my red rose bouquet and red lips. My hubby had red socks and red bow-tie.

The most emotional moment for me was when I arrived at the ceremony. Suddenly I started to cry, I don’t even know why, but tears fled down my face. I felt so beautiful, so happy and so in love.

After the ceremony we went straight to the château with one little stop to take pictures with the Eiffel tower-the symbol of Paris.

We continued a less formal and romantic photo session around the chateau with the fields, flowers and horses. Than we had an official dinner with lots of beautiful touching wishes and surprises from my friends. The day went by so fast, that I barely noticed that it was already time for fireworks.

Luckily I had a second day ahead of me to party with my friends.

The theme of the second night was 20’s Gatsby party. I was looking forward to put something more dramatic and fashionable to wear to the dance floor. I put on a long black dress and lots of accessories. We prepared lots of props: hats, feathers, necklaces for the guests to wear. But I was shocked at how much effort my guests put into their costumes. Everybody looked like movie stars.

We invited an amazing singer Nia to sing for us, She came all the way from Milan and put on an unforgettable show.  This second night I was able to relax and enjoy my time with my guests. I am really happy that my wedding lasted two days.
