Make it Personal

The best way to choose a theme is always to look at your budding relationship and pull from the memories the two of you have shared. Whether it comes from where you two met, how you have changed over the years or just something you both share a love for, it should make sense for you. There’s something really beautiful about being a part of a wedding that has authentic meaning to the couple that created it.

Go Big or Go Home

If you can’t think of something specific and meaningful to the two of you, find inspiration in other places. It can come from your dress, jewelry or something you’ve always wanted to be. Become a superhero, a queen, Cruella de Vil – you have the power!

Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff

Remember, just because you should use your theme as a base for planning and keeping organized, doesn’t mean you have to obsess over every detail. The people you love are going to be there, celebrating you and your love. You may have already spent time  worrying about whether or not you were going to get married, now you get to have fun because you are! Your theme should be something that makes you feel like the queen you are, and something that you look back on proudly.
