Have a Polaroid-Themed Photobooth

Let your guests commemorate your big day with a Polaroid photo booth. You can either have one of your photographers take care of the booth or leave it free to use for your guests to take photos of each other. Turn Your Guestbook Into a Scrapbook with Polaroids

Add a new twist to the regular guestbook with one that looks like a scrapbook! Before the wedding party enters the reception, have each person, couple, or family take a Polaroid of each other and tape them on a page with a personal message to the betrothed. The taping situation might be a hassle and hold up the line, so if you prefer a photo album where you can slip in the Polaroids and personal messages on fancy notecards, go for it.

Designate the Maid of Honor or a Bridesmaid as the Official Polaroid Photographer

Although the wedding photographer will do the bulk of the work, having a second person take quick snaps of candid moments is something you might enjoy along with your professional pictures. Why go through the trouble of finding your miniature replica or getting one made when you can easily pick up a camera and point and click? Snap profile photos of each other while pursing your lips, you facing one side while your partner faces the other. If you don’t feel like making your own picture holders for the cakes, you can always use place card holders, but no matter what you do, your cake will definitely have that fun element that traditional ones lack.

As fun as polaroids can be, keep in mind that they aren’t an alternative to a wedding photographer as they are merely a supplement to your party decor and favors.
