My favourite time of the year has arrived – wedding season. Looking up 2016’s spring wedding trends fills me with bubbly excitement, and lucky for you, I’ve put together a few of my favorites to give you the best wedding inspiration possible.
Rose-Gold & Dusted Pink Accents
How can you not fall in love with rose-gold at a wedding…or anywhere else for that matter? Though metallics should always be used with caution (or else risk over-whelming your guests eyes with shine), rose-gold has a subtle warmth that tones down the lustre. Dusted pink shades are making waves on wedding cakes and even bridal gowns as planners find ways to keep subtle elegant colour an important part of their concepts. Both of these gorgeous tones are versatile enough to find place in plenty of themes, especially those that work towards lace, cream and muted shades.
Freshly Plucked Flowers
There are only so many ways you can put the same flower combinations together, so many couples that are going for a more natural, rustic ambience are opting for floral arrangements that look as if they’ve been thrown together (though they’re often meticulously created). These bouquets use a mix of in-season plants (vines, succulents) as well as classic florals to create a intricate free-spirited look. This often leaves the arrangements and bouquets with a more lush feel, and leaves room for some DIY florals to be a part of the wedding.
Colorful Boho-Chic

The bohemian look is relatively timeless, as it comes and goes consistently as a spring wedding trend. As people lean towards sustainability, comfortability and intimacy at their wedding choices more brides are opting for a care-free look. Loose waves, flowing gowns and flower crowns are the tell-tale signs of a boho-chic wedding, and many couples find ways to look fashionable while still feeling natural.
