It’s really nice than there is a little theme to a wedding, it creates ambiance mood and adds little something extra special to the day. Carolyn and Carl-Erik decided to have their event styled with a vintage wedding feel. Lace dress, pearls, fans, little lace accessories, small jars and candles ob the tables, all created a very nostalgic romantic mood. It was a happy and beautiful vintage wedding.

Carolyn was getting ready in a beautiful cosy apartment in the middle of Montreal down town. Bridesmaids were flying around Caroline in joy and excitement adjusting her dress, helping to put on her shoes, checking her make-up and placing the veil.  Carolyn was truly a princess taking in all the care and attention of that special day. She had prepared small gifts for her girls that day: small earrings, bracelets and fans in vintage wedding style. All the accessories were fitting ideally with the dresses of the bridesmaids and the overall theme of the wedding. All of the girls had a lot of fun that morning and a great variety of vintage wedding attributes allowed for great stylish wedding photos.

At the same time, Carl-Eric, his best-man and the cortège were waiting for Carolyn in the beautiful park where they were supposed to meet for the first time all dressed up in wedding attire and ready to get married.  Carl-Erik was very nervous to see Carolyn.  Carolyn was extremely exited as well.  It was a very emotional encounter of the two people madly in love with each other. They were looking at each other deeply in the eyes, kissing and holding each other tight like in a real fairy tale.  We were able to capture really sincere and emotional moments. Then we went on taking romantic couple pictures in the same park. The sun was smiling at us and the faces of Carolyn and Carl-Erik were shining with love!  The couple and their cortège were so full of joy and laughter that they even had enough courage to climb on a tree to get some fun crazy wedding pictures.

The ceremony itself was at the Birks Chapel. It was of course very emotional. The families and friends welcomed the newly-weds with flying rose petals. After the ceremony, dancing and entertainment was awaiting all attendees. Live music from the 30’s in the restaurant Lion D’or, organized by Akim Duquette, was provided by the wonderful band ‘Louis Levesque.’ They played all the hits from the early 20^th century which allowed for a very special atmosphere.  Nobody wanted the evening to end and the couple and the guests were dancing like crazy into the late night.
