Who would’ve thought you could meet “The One” in a dance class? When Laura and Gianni were paired up during a salsa lesson, the two felt sparks immediately. Even though they ended up dancing with many other people that day, they left thinking of each other.
A Salsa Wedding with A Salsa Proposal?
Not quite. Laura was traveling between Toronto and Montreal for work, and during the last week of her stay Gianni drove down to meet her. To her surprise, he showed up at her hotel room…dressed in a suit and tie. Then, of course, she realized what was happening. From that moment on they were engaged, ready to spend the rest of their lives salsa dancing the night away together.
Smooches Surrounded by Sparkling Lights
The couple had their ceremony at Marie-Auxiliatrice church. The red upholstery and hard-wood floors made the white of Laura’s dress pop even more, and the stained glass windows brought beautiful light into the room. They continued the party at Le Rizz wedding hall, where they lit sparklers for their guests to play with as the couples danced together. The fun of a salsa wedding rubbed off on everyone! WFloralDesign made the perfect bouquet for such a wonderful bride!
So What Now?
The couple is excited to be officially “Mr. and Mrs.” with their cat (and VIP guest) Mittens. A sweet first meeting, turned into a heartfelt proposal ending with an amazing night of fun. Not to mention how great dancers they were!
We’re loving the bow tie trend that seems to be the go-to for grooms recently. It adds a touch of playfulness to any suit. Don’t forget to share your favorite photos of these two lovebirds!
