Planning a wedding a wedding day schedule can be a difficult task.

As the summer is approaching, a lot of future brides and grooms are concerned about the right timing of the events at the big event.

Here are a few tips to consider when creating  as Wedding day schedule:

1. Start panning early

Don’t do last minute wedding agenda. There are a lot of details to think about.  A lot of important activities will depend on the bigger structure of the day and vise versa.

2. Consult all your vendors and organizers

When is the food served? Can you plan some entertainment in between the servings?

How long in advance should the limousine be at your door?

Even the florist is important in planning.  He needs to deliver flowers in the morning to the place where the bride is getting ready. The photographer will need the bouquet for the bridal portraits once she is all dressed up and ready for the spot light.

3. Create a photo shoot plan

Remember exactly how much time you need to take pictures in the morning, with your family, bridal party and romantic couple photos. Usually it takes about 30 minutes for the family and one hour from the couple by themselves and with the bridal party.

make sure all your family members and friends know when and where to be for the formal wedding pictures.

4. Don’t forget the transportation

Remember that there’s also travel time from one destination to the next. make sure that you account for that in your wedding day schedule.

5. Plan smart

Plan extra cushions of time. The day is full of emotions and sometimes things just take a bit longer than expected. For example after the ceremony, guests could take their time to congratulate, hug and kiss you. These are great moments, but you should be aware that time flies and account for it put in your wedding agenda. Also there could be unexpected traffic or construction. After all we are in Montreal 🙂
