People might have heard a lot about Alain Simon’s work, seen photos and videos. However, he was the one that created the show this time, at LaV Studio, that was supposed to surpass all expectations! Maybe it’s because all LaVimage team alongside with Alain Simon, Eventex and LUXE were working day and night on creating this unforgettably magical atmosphere. It was a long way from a dream to determination, from determination to creating a reality, to living a dream, to inspire. Alain Simon once said that this is like having a baby: it’s never easy, never fast, it supposed to be planned and desired, loved from the very conceiving. It’s impossible to count the hours Vera Varley and Gleb Galkin, the founders of LaVimage, spent discussing every little detail, every shot, every movement of the camera. The real spirit of magic was added to their work by the professionals of Eventex and LUXE. Eventex provided an incredible lightning show and music that gave this luster and fun feeling to the event. LUXE provided comfy and luxurious furniture to enable the guests to fully enjoy their time after a hard week of work. It’s easy to imagine how Alain has rewritten the script multiple times until he finally got perfection.
The flowers, the setting, the light, the Champaign – all the event was created for women and inspired by them. Not only for those who are getting married, but for those who love and being loved, for those who are not afraid of taking a leap of faith and live their dreams. This show aimed to make the women see that they are the queens, they shine everyday and they deserve to shine even brighter on one of the most important days in our lives, the day of celebration of true love, trust and partnership – Marriage.
The whole idea was to show that one does not need to be a model to look stunning, that everything is possible for anyone. Girls as they look in their everyday life, were taken for the event. Mila Rivkin’s amazing dresses, Sophia and her gorgeous assistant from Modelo Spa, were able to metamorphose out of the water models into elegant, simply stunning and dazzling brides. Their transformation was an incredible delight for the eyes. All of the models were shining with elegance and passion. Not to mention that some of Mila’s wedding dresses were custom created just for this spectacular show.
The show was to start at 7pm and the guests arrived just in time. They were brought up on an antique-looking elevator and greeted by the ushers. The elevator was furnished with Victorian-looking chairs, provided by LUXE Rentals, and the guests enjoyed a comfortable ride to the main event floor. The V.I.P.’s traveled through a hall, decorated with award winning depictions from LaVimage photographers, towards the reception banquet. The banquet smelled of freshly cooked Agnus Dei appetizers and deserts provided by Cho’cola.
A real surprise was waiting in LaVimage studio. Guests were greeted by Cynthia, a trapeze artist, that was pouring Veuve Clicquot champagne up-side-down. A true spectacle for the eyes and senses!
Such an incredible atmosphere of magic wouldn’t be complete without Vera, Gleb and their team. Vera and Alesya, LaVimage main photographer, were working on fashion shoot that would later appear in Elegant Wedding Magazine. They created a feeling of true importance for all the guests that they held close to heart. LaVimage team worked extremely hard and very well coordinated under the pressure of the show. Alain Simon organized the event for months, yet Vera, Alesya and Gleb had only a couple of hours to capture every bit of detail and emotion. Their tremendous work was seen and made all the difference during the show.
Big big thanks, warmest hugs to everyone who came to this magnificent event! We were very thrilled to be a part of this creation by Alain Simon, it was a real pleasure to work with such dedicated people, without whom this would have never seen the light.
